The Dragons travel to Hart County to take on the Raiders this Friday night.

This should be a very good game, as the two teams have split the last two games, with the Dragons winning in 2021 and Hart last year, with both games having been super tough and physical football games.

The Dragons are much more balanced than in previous years, but still run the ball very effectively, but unlike past years, the Dragons are capable of throwing the ball very effectively. On the other hand, The raiders seem to be living by the run this year, and haven't been throwing the ball with nearly as much success as previous years. With the said, when you run the ball like the Raiders do, who needs to throw it anyways? Did I mention Hart County returns almost the entire team from the game last year, so I expect them to be very good.

The Dragons also had some injuries against John Hardin and seemed to be a little banged up, hopefully those guys are able to fully heal this week before the ball game.

My mind says the Raiders are the favorite, but my heart says the Dragons are able to pull it out, 34-28.

Dragons in Hart County territory, but a sack pushes them back across midfield.   End of the 3Q  Hart County 20 Green County 12

Two weeks ago I would’ve picked Green but after last week’s results I think I’m going with Hart.

An under-the-radar marquee game this week. I think it comes down to the wire.

This is gonna be a good game. These kids have deep history together. Most of these kids played with each other in AAU Basketball. They have played each other in football since little league.

Hart co JD Crump and Shoulders are beast. This Hart co team has ran the ball most part the first two games. They do have a passing ability but mostly depend on the run. JD Crump has had an great off season. Getting some exposure from alot of camps.

Green is more balanced then they have been in years. They have a powerful offense if they show up to play. Greens Deffense is better then expected. They have proven they can stop the run something they couldn't do last year. I look for Seymour and McKinney to have a break out game.

I'm going to go with Green by 10 in a close one. I think Green has a sour taste in there mouth from loosing one they should've won last year.

I really don't know who to pick, but think this is a great game this week for true football fans.

Good luck to both team and no injuries!

After watching John Hardin vs Green County I came away impressed with the Dragons. Offensively they are hard to defend with big boys on the OL and skill guys that they use in variety of ways on offense. Hart County has to stop the run AND the pass. I know a couple of backs got banged up against JH so wishing them speedy recovery! I got Green County in this one 28-24.

I'll be following the updates in here, for sure.

It's hard to go against Hart County after they won last year and return almost everyone. Looking for a fantastic back and forth game.

Last years game was very interesting, the Dragons had a commanding 20-6 lead in the third quarter, and then came the multiple turnovers. Two were completely unforced. Guys running the wrong route  or the QB throwing the wrong route with only a Hart County player in the area.

To the credit of Hart County they answered with a big time score on the ensuing drive and the Dragons turned it over, and Hart hit with a big play to tie the ball game, and again the Dragons threw an INT inside of the red zone and Hart hit the first play with a huge 80 yard TD pass to take the lead.  They made the plays when it mattered, so credit to them.

If the Dragons don’t turn it over 4 times like last year, I think they should score more points as they moved the ball very well against Hart last year, only to have turnovers.

That game was also QB Hodges second ever start, and he’s much better now than he was then, so I don’t expect him to make the same mistakes as last time. This one has all the makings of a dandy of a game.

Green more balanced and hard nosed.  28-21 Green

I'm picking the Green Co. Dragons.  I'm just not on the Hart Co bandwagon yet.  This week and next week's game against E-Town should tell us a lot about Hart Co.

Thanks for the insight. That casts a slightly different light on this game. Either way, this should be one of the better ones we see this week.

Hart County leads 14-6.

Green County possession starting at their own 20.

7:30 in the 2Q

Three and out for the Dragons.

Punt downed at the Hart County 36.

4:00 left in the half
