When I was in high school my best friend had a t-shirt that said Hoban Football 1998 playoffs. It was his cousins. It blew my mind they had a shirt for making the playoffs. I know now how hard it was back then to make it. Like said prior, Hoban has stepped up their game the last decade to make them into a powerhouse in D2 Ohio football. I’m taking Freddy D though. Rep the Bluegrass boys!

We know there will be big time players on both sides in this game. For Douglass, the true key is the Xs & Os. Whatever it is that Hoban does, can the staff effectively counter it. 

In the Broncos history, in-game adjustments have historically been slow.  I do believe every game FDHS has ever lost, the opponent scored first.  That will be something to watch this season, along with the handling of the QB situation.

Hoban will be missing a starting offensive offensive tackle who was hurt the first day of practice. That should help the Broncos up front.

Losses last night by Moeller and Lakota West have bumped Hoban up pregame to the #2 slot in CalPreps' Ohio ratings. 

It looks like Douglass is considered the Knights third toughest regular season opponent this year.
