As I stated in another thread the Reds are 0-6 so far in August and the Marlins are only 1-5 and have lost 4 straight. I think we need to win 2 out 3 vs the Marlins and 2 out of 3 with the Pirates ove

This team is super young and 3-4 starters on the DL. They’re going to have incredible highs and lows.

One of the classic Bell head scratchers is why you even have Steer start at 2B one day last week if you're just going to play Newman there anyway.

Exactly glad you posted it and not me. lol

Steer, Elly and McLain are easily the 3 best gloves.  However he wants to use them they need to be on the field 90% of the time.

Reds tie in the bottom of the 2nd on a double by TJ Friedl knocking in Kevin Newman who had singled.

Reds take the lead 2-1 after 5 innings on a throwing error to allow Fairchild to score from 3rd after he had it a triple.

Well, I go to get a snack and Soler for the 2nd day in a row hits a homerun this one was a 2-run shot to put the Marlins up 3-2. The Reds go in order in the bottom of the 7th so they have two more shots to win this one. The Cubs are tied, and the Brewers and Rockies are scoreless through two innings.

Reds fall 3-2 to the Marlins. The Marlins snap a 5 game losing streak. The rubber game is a business day special at 12:35.

Buck Farmer had a pitch get away from him and hit the Marlins batter.   David bell decides to sit Farmer for Sims, who in turn gives up the 2 run homer on his very first pitch of the game.
