Game is now scheduled to top at 2:40 so it should be on CBS again.

  • How can a team be this incompetent feeding the post (or passing in general)?

This probably goes without saying but the first 4 mins will be telling. Need to come out and punch them in the mouth. Show some major toughness in someone besides Oscar.

Kansas State isn't very big.  Need to see more out of Livingston and Wallace.  If UK can do that, they're sweet 16 bound.  With that said, small athletic teams tend to give them fits(Vanderbilt).   Bit of a toss up but I like Kentucky in this one.

Should be a good one.  Have to shoot better and get something off the bench for points.  Go Cats!

Kentucky 68-64.

Bench points would be a totally unexpected bonus. There is no one on that bench capable of getting more than a basket or two right now. Anything more than that would be a surprise.

What needs to happen is Livingston and Wallace need to add more on offense. I am not sure if Wallace is able to add shooting from the outside with his leg but the drives to the basket were big against Providence. Both Livingston and Wallace lost their shooting confidence in SEC play somewhere and they haven't found it (but Wallace could be injury related). At one point mid season Livingston was shooting around 85% from the free throw line. Now he is all the way down to 75%.

The one person who could help UK off the bench is Wheeler. He adds a different dimension, can handle the ball and has the best assist to turnover ration on the team. I don't expect to see him Sunday, but maybe next week if the Cats win?

I think this one is gonna be a battle. Need Toppin and Livingston to really step up and Oscar to do Oscar things on the glass.

I find it odd that Kentucky is favored. I honestly don’t get why.

Because who is favored in a game is only partly about which team is "better". It truly is more about where the money is going. If more people are putting their money on UK, then the odds will go to UK to try and get more money going the other way.

Realistically I know that… it just seems so odd to me that people have been favoring Kentucky in betting. I wouldn’t be picking them with money on the line and I DEFINITELY wouldn’t lay points to do so.
