Male 67 Trinity 65 2OT (7th Region Championship)

Featured Replies

Heck of a game! Congrats to the Bulldogs! They will be a tough out in Sweet 16.

Great game.

Very similar to last year when H beat Ballard in 3 OT

Male coach must be pretty fair.

Meechie White big time plays at the end. Key drive and kick for the go head bucket out a scramble play. Then locks up Vesser to force a wild layup for game!

Jayden Johnson got all the hype as best freshman this year coming in but got outplayed big time by the smaller Cole Edlen. Hit big shots and forced turnovers on Johnson.

A lot of “underlying storylines”, transfers, etc. in this game . . . and what a game it was!  So hard to predict the makeup of teams year-to-year in the 6th and 7th regions. This Male team is much different than the team that went to Rupp last year . . . as is J-town!

Seventh Region tournament rarely disappoints.  Coach Haworth has done a great job this year.  Male a very worthy champion.

This is great! I really enjoy high school social media jabs.

Just read the write up in the newspaper... heck of a game. Male has been tough all season and really seems to have found their confidence. 7th region is always a tough road to navigate; rest up and see if they still have enough in their legs to make a run at Rupp.

Two of Trinity’s starters played last year on different teams that went to the Sweet 16 . . . and those two teams are returning this year!
