Does anyone know who was coaching from the front row, across court from Newport bench? Figuring it was a parent, but don’t know, and he was right in the celebration after Newport won the title.

No idea, but he must have done a pretty good job coaching, he won.

His name is Drew Mitchell he coaches Sumner AAU team Kinney and Turner live with him and play for his AAU team.

I personally think it would be weird for my child to live with their AAU coach, but all circumstances are unique, and if that’s what helps the young men get a shot at college ball then go for it.
