Campbell County led the entire game, with Cov Cath getting their first lead with 45 seconds remaining in regulation.

Colonels were down by as much as 14.

Don’t sleep on Campbell County come tournament time. 

Campbell County had a good game plan, kept good game tempo and knocked down good shots.  When Cov Cath would start to make a run time to time the Campbell County coach called time outs at the right times.  Cov Cath did not shoot well at all in the first half as well as had several turnovers.  However; in the 4th quarter they were able to turn up the tempo with defense that turned into big shots on the offensive end.  Ipsaro and Hussey scored well and Johnson had some important minutes that helped Cov Cath finish out with the win.

 

Cov Cath has really been battle tested the last couple of weeks . 2 overtime wins, the close North Laurel and Lloyd game on back to back nights. 

9th region is totally up for grab this year. Who wants it.  Camels are starting to play.

Couldn't agree more.  There are multiple teams that could win the 9th and nothing is certain for ANY team IMO.

Is this still a thing?  I would think after getting burned 862 times, people would learn their lesson. 

Hamilton has to be in the conversation of PYO in the 10th.

I disagree, not totally open. Yes a handful of teams but probably closer to 3, you have to really have an identity or a go to guy that can control tempo. There close games lately each one of those teams have a guy like that. North has Reed. Conner and Campbell have the Hamiltons, and Lloyd has two D1 kids that on their best night can play with anybody. And Cooper defensive identity can keep them in it with anyone sometimes. But to act like CCH still isn’t pretty heavy favorites would be foolish. I’m taking them over the field no doubt!

I think you just agreed with what has been said. CCH is still the favorite, no one doubts that. However, you just rattled off several teams that on any given night, similar to some CCH’s very close games of late that “could have” easily went the other way, they, as well as any team, can slip up, have an off night shooting or heaven forbid someone gets injured like some teams have experienced this season and anything can happen. 
 

You're correct, until someone knocks them off, they are favorite.
