I am currently trying to figure out the seeding for the 8th region, and there is currently a ton of ties for seeding.

Obviously head-to-head is the first judgement, but what if they play twice a year and they split? Does it go to point margin? 

What if there is more than one team tied? 

I am pretty sure that each district is seperate, however I am curious if anyone knows the rules for each one. @ColonelMike could you help on this one? 

For example, the 30th district currently has 4 teams sitting at 2-1. 

29th:
2-way: head to head
3-way: point differential up to 20 points, then head-to-head, the Cantrell Ratings

30th:
2-way: head to head, then RPI on finish by date for district
3-way: head to head, then RPI on finish by date for district

31st:
2-way: head to head, coin flip
3-way: blind draw

32nd:
2-way: head to head
3-way: blind draw

29th at North Oldham
30th at Anderson County
31st at Trimble County
32nd at Simon Kenton

Try a 6 team in the 31st. The 29th had 4 and the 31st had 5 until Trimble County was moved a few years back.

Should still be 4 in the 29th. 

As I have said for a few years now the last major realignment was in 2005/06. With schools closing, new schools opening, the KHSAA in the next couple years needs to scrap everything and start over. No 3 team Districts! It’s crazy to have a team get a bye to the Regional. Some regions only have 14-15 teams which is also crazy. We have enough teams for every region to have at least 16 teams and that is what they should try to do. I will even volunteer to help them!

To clarify, Powell Co. is in the 54th, a 2 team District, in the 14th Region which has only 5 teams. If they'd won their Region final, they'd only needed to have won 2 games to make the State Tournament.

Overall there are only 52 districts in girls and boys soccer, not 64. Two District Regions - 1, 13, 14, 15. Three District Regions - 3, 5, 10, 16. Four District Regions - 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12.

The online chatter in social media on this "imbalance" is a hoot.

56th uses 15 point differential on ties. If there’s a tie on the differential then it goes to a coin toss.
