True, but it's also not often you see an opponent throw up 6 to 8 3's as the shot clock was running out and drain nearly all of them. 

Let's not all overlook the crazy shooting performance that SC had last night. Meechie Johnson was shooting 30% from 3 coming into last night. He hit 6-10 half of which were from Steph Curry range. They shot over 50% for the game and that was with one guy going 1 for 5.

Big Oscar fan as well; passionate, players incredibly hard, strong ambassador for the program, talented, and by all accounts is a great person. However, I am beginning to think some of the cohesiveness/communication/jelling issues for UK can be traced back to Oscar. For better or worse Oscar alienates himself from his teammates. He is the only player I consistently see doing NIL stuff and he gets a ton of media attention for his religious practices and winning national player of the year last year. Now he is publicly calling out his teammates and asking them to be more like him. Public comments like that are not going to help anything. Started to get a Russel Wilson vibe from him.

I don't know. I don't see that as being an Oscar problem, I see that as being an everybody else problem. He has earned the right (IMO) to call them out. He's the National Player of the Year. If he doesn't feel like they are matching his effort, I would expect him to ask that of his teammates. He's probably not as polished as he could be, and maybe he shouldn't have said it publicly, but he's not wrong.

I 100%he has earned the right to call them out. And to be honest I feel like they needed to be called out - a lot of times UK doesn't even look like they want to be on the court. I just never like the practice of calling out teammates in public. I feel like it ultimately does more harm than good. 

This actually sets Cal up rather nicely as he spends his time telling us that this team is really really good and don't blame the players etc.  IF they turn it around he has the greatest I told you so, you guys should have listened to me, I know basketball and kids, yada yada yada speech ready to roll.  Trust me he will use it and use it often.   If it does not turn around well he can then shift to personnel, etc at seasons end so as not to upset players during the season and since he has the recruiting class coming in that he does he will be replacing them.

 That play that drawn up in the time out was a very good play. Properly executed, Frederick has a really nice look at a 3. One big problem with the play. Wheeler takes a dribble or 2 extra and the result is the pass gets to Frederick too late leading to the fade away 3. No way I take another timeout. You can only control so much. Players need to make plays at some point. There was enough time left. Oscar needed to score and hope he gets fouled in the process. No foul, get a turnover on their inbounds play and foul immediately if you don't.
