Prosecutor said they were dropped primarily because victim/girlfriend wanted them dropped. Very common in domestic abuse cases.

Certainly doesn't mean anything they learned when they looked into it was what they want their young men to be led by.

Not a perfect world out there with respect for making mistakes, he will move forward and have continued success wherever he lands, and yes, institutions understand this as well.

My assumption was UT conducted their own investigation and felt the separation was warranted. Though Beard's attorney said they didn't conduct their own investigation. Who knows? Regardless, they didn't want that cloud hanging over their head.

Texas has the money to afford Calipari as they move into the SEC. Calipari has gotten some players from Texas through the years. Just seems like the right fit if Calipari was ever to leave UK on his own, this may be the job that he leaves for. 

Some of our fellow UKs may get their wish of Calipari leaving with Texas blowing this elite 8 game today after being up 13 in the second half. Even though I think their interim coach deserves the job full time. I think with them coming up short, it gives their AD a chance to go out and make a big splash type of hire. To go along with the new practice facility and new arena Texas is getting. Which both would also be big sale in getting Calipari.

Grass ain't gonna be greener in Lex, if that happens. At least for 2023-2024.

Rodney Terry had the interim tag lifted and got a 5 year deal. As he should, he did a heck of a job this year.
