Rules for hiring coaches and hiring teachers are different. Coaches no, teachers yes (even then there are some exceptions). So it mostly has to do with which position you’re hiring for.

If the leaks are true, I'd expect the news to break very soon.

I don't know facts and will not pretend to. With that said, if Stonebreaker is interested, hire him today. Would be a HUGE hire for Somerset right now. Again, my speculation.

Rumor mill has slowed the last few days. Early rumors now being denied or backtracked on. 

I'm in no hurry, just want them get the right coach.

Personally hoping for a rumored longshot, but it's a looooong shot.
