It only took Trinity one drive to figure out and stop the Pioneer offense. Good defenses will do that to you.

I don’t recall many mistakes, they just got beat by a better team. 

Congrats to the Shamrocks on a dominating performance. I thought this game would be more competitive. Congrats to SK on great season and to Chase Crone on a great career!

This wasn’t a Trinity team of the past, but still a solid squad. Team speed was the difference in this game. Trinity beat them to the edges all night. Trinity’s kicker is GOOD.

The big schools in Louisville can attract and/or facilitate getting some of the best talent in the region (KY/IN/OH). The rest of the big schools in the state will get the kids they get, play their schedule and hope to be competitive from time to time. There is simply no way to compete with the depth of these super squads.

The edge plays on offense and pursuit on defense is where you really saw the difference in speed for Trinity. I’m not sure SK sealed the edge on defense once tonight. 

I guess those silly people who do the rankings had Trinity and SK in the right places after all.

As I said, Louisville speed is just different.

I have always been a Roy Lucas Jr fan since he was at Lloyd, however, going for it on 4th and long inside your 40 in the third seems like a concession.
