Bardstown vs. Western Hills Cancelled

Featured Replies

Western Hills has forfeited the game due to low number of players. Bardstown moves on to round 2.

Another fight that left 3 players suspended.

How sad.

What is the world coming to.

By Jove, we are still having out Tiger Feed spaghetti supper tonight.  But it won't taste as good.

Marion County canceled against Central as well, for unforeseen circumstances.

Fight was among their own team is what I have heard.

WOW!  That is terrible.  What a way to end your season!

Probably easier decision knowing was going to get a running clock put on them by Bardstown.

It’s unfortunate and a low point for the program.

The cynic in me questions if the same decision would have been made if the fighting team was 6-4 and stood a decent chance at a win on Friday instead of 2-8 and almost assuredly will be defeated. Of course a fight such as this might not be as likely to happen if the team was having more success this season.

I Feel for the kids and coaches at Hills. But this is the climax of what sitting on your hands gets you in today's  football world.
