HHSballer19
Troy Smith would still be in my top 3.

Original Rookie
Troy Smith still had the best regular season. He's my #1.
98NCCalum
I've personally never seen a better WR in college than Johnson, I'd have voted for him.

HailToTheChief
Mcfadden should have gotten it.
bugatti
I do not understand the point of the thread. Are we asking who would you give the Heisman to based on how they performed in the Bowl game? In that case, Colt Brennan would breeze through the award and there would be honorable mentions for about 15 other people.
AverageJoesGym
Since this is a hind sight Heisman Trophy, after watching Smith crap the bed on national television in the biggest game of the year--I'd probably vote for McFadden.

I think he means to include the bowl games in the total body of work.
Log Mountain Boy
What is the record of the CURRENT year's Heisman winner, in the championship game? Are you saying he is like JJ Redick? A player who plays well in the regular season, but always chokes in the NCAA tournament.
Pat Dad
Since we are voting based on a bowl performance, Andre Woodson is my guy. Bring on the criticism. Gee, I'm kidding. Really, I'd vote for JaMarcus Russell.

AverageJoesGym
Can't blame Smith for his OL breaking down like that. Yeah, but in Heisman voting one bad performance in a loss is usually all it takes to take you out of the running. He made plenty of bad throws and/or decisions when he did get time to throw. bugatti
I don't think he means based on the bowl game only. I think he means to include the bowl games in the total body of work. In that case... Dwayne Jarrett, Colt Brennan, and Jemarcus Russell have to be added to the list. Of the three finalists... McFadden did not play a whole lot did he? Smith went belly up; Quinn was backhanded. I still contend this is not a good year for QBs (I apologize Brohm apologists). WR is where the NFL talent is this season.
