January 7, 200719 yr Both 8-5... both very tough schedules... Yes, but UC defeated a top 10 team (Rutgers) and played U of L to a close game in the oven. UK beat a very disappointing Georgia team and lost a close game to a very disappointing Tennessee.

January 7, 200719 yr Not by me, I would love to see UK win the SEC and UL win the Big East. :thumb: With UC 2nd for GT's sake I'd like to see UK win the SEC East next season. I would love for the Tigers to beat the Cats twice next year.:eek:
January 7, 200719 yr Ok I found this thread a little late so I am going to give all of you my two cents of whats going on. 1) Big East- 5-0 in the bowl games. No other conference went undefeated. 2) For all you SEC homers. The SEC went 5-3. About to go 5-4 after tomorrow nights National Championship. In those five wins, by Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, and Georgia. They played five opponents who were either going into that bowl game as losers of their last game or just limping into the game. I would have taken all 5 Big BEAST teams over those lousy opponents. 3) And to think two of the better teams from the SEC Arkansas and Tennessee were both smacked by the Big Ten. A conference that had only one team in it all year that could actually compete with the top teams. 4) And you SEC homers, get ready because next season the National Championship is going to the Big East Conference. O yeah, Kentucky will not have a winning record next year.
January 7, 200719 yr If the Big East teams played in the SEC or Big Ten, they probably wouldn't even be in a bowl game. You keep hanging your hat on the Big East's shortcomings, and they'll keep on succeding in the tasks at hand :thumb:
