Who are the walk ons at UK over the past 5 years? What is their background? Walk ons at UK are usually practice players only. What is the controversy with this?

MJ is not alone. I have no clue. But let's not burden you alone to post an explanation. Anyone else? Can anyone fill in the gaps?

I thought you might enjoy watching his Hall of Fame enshrinement speech:

Yes.

Interesting. Thoughts?

This deal is above my thought process.

Walker is like another coach on the court, vert smart, but his level of play is no where near the talent pool at UK or even for that matter a D1 level program.

Wonder if this means NKU will be added to UK's schedule some season down the road.

Since Detroit never made the schedule, I'm guessing NKU won't either.

Except Detroit did make the schedule.  They were supposed to play on December 15, 2020 but was postponed due to COVID.

That changes my thought process, might happen.

What’s really interesting about it? Just a normal walk on that won’t ever see the court here at UK.

IMO he most likely will stay two years here at UK as a walk on, and will get to train and practice against top D1 guys. Then after two years most likely tries to transfer to NKU to play for his dad.

Dig deeper. If you don’t know what’s interesting about it, you didn’t watch Horn’s time in NKY closely. IMO of course.

I’m all ears. What makes him signing at UK interesting?
