Just looks like a lot of :cry: :cry: to me.

Ashland's Schedule is just as strong if not stronger than Russell's and Rose Hill's. Madison Central Top 15 team, Louisville Iraqouis(sp.) a beat a PRP team who should be a Top 20 team,who just beat South Laurel, not to mention played Mason Co.,Boyd twice and a good Ironton team. Name Russell's and Rose Hill's Schedule's and show me how they are stronger?

 

 

 

I was at the Madison Central game and just for the record, Ashland should have never even had a chance to crawl in that game. The calling was horribly biast towards Ashland and put Madison Central on a major disadvantage. To say that Ashland has played a schedule to Russell's and Rose Hill's is nothing more than a funny joke.:lol:

I bet coach Feldhouse was a site... He's been known to let a ref know what's on his mind every now and then.

Could you explain the slick job to me once again? Is that the one where the rules established by the KHSAA were actually followed by the member schools of the 64th district?

I guess I had my expectations to high. The bottomline is this, no matter what the average attendance totals are over the next few years, Rose Hill and Fairview will never hold the tournament in their gyms yet Ashland and Boyd will because of the way the form was filled out. In other words the average attendance could be 3,000 and Ashland's 1800 seat gym could still hold the tournament.

HC, good post, but I cant say that I agree with Rose Hill being a team that has seperated themselves in this region. They have played some good games, and played with some good teams, but I dont think that moral victories seperate yourself from other teams. Though I do believe they are the number 2 team in this region right now, the number 3, 4, 5, and possibly 6 teams are just as good as they are. I do agree that Russell has though.

There is no "big 4" in this region. There is Russell, then a group of about 5 more teams that could beat Russell occasionally and each other on any given night. Trying to stop the "top 4" is really not the question. trying to stop Russell when they are playing halfway decent is the question. I do enjoy getting to include some small schools (Rose Hill, Elliott County) in the discussion this year along with the usual suspects.

Cant argue the numbers, they never lie. Russell is king of the mountain. All they have to do is stay on top. Hard task however.

Has Rose Hill played Cov Cath, Iroquois, Madison Central, and Mason? Has Russell? To say that Ashland's schedule is a joke is being uninformed. It is the toughest around. Does that mean Ashland is better than Rose Hill or Russell? No. But it does mean they play a legit schedule every year. Plus Boyd twice already. They have won 7 by the way not 6. Lost two at the buzzer but losses nonetheless. Right now it is all about getting better anyway. I believe Russell has played Raceland 3 times and Rose Hill Piarist and Bath. Cannot find those teams on Ashland's schedule except for Raceland once.

To the tourney format why would you guys want to see the 64th at Rose Hill or Fairview. That would keep many fans from seeing great games. Why not have it at the bigger facilities?

Stinger I completely agree that Ashland plays a quality schedule year in and year out. I will say that Rose Hill and Russell have played schedules that are just as tough. I mean I can say has Ashland played Doss, Central, or Ballard and yes Rose Hill has played Mason. Your point is taken and I like I said I agree that Ashland plays a tough schedule.

Nope, but Lewis played Scott Co.,,,,,so obviously,,,,,,,Lewis Co.'s schedule is the toughest!
