I'm guessing one, if not both in TyTy and Wheeler coming back.

Could also mean Sharpe is coming back.

TyTy is not going to come back. Wheeler isn’t a threat to go to the NBA, so he should be back. Which at this time Sharpe is suppose to be back. So with the other recruits coming in, and Wheeler being back at the pg spot. It definitely would be hard to find many minutes next year. It sucks losing him, but it make sense because he has to do what is best for him.

Not that he's a point guard but Frederick will eat up guard minutes next year too.

I think Clark was primarily a Joel Justus recruit too.

Unfortunate but not shocking. Next man up as Cal would say.

I'm kind of surprised it took this long.

Agreed.

He may end up an NBA all star, but his rating out of high school doesn’t coincide with what Cal looks for.

Best of luck to the young man.

Most likely Arizona St bound.

His rating out of high school seems to fit like a bunch of players Cal has signed and done very well.  His ranking is similar to people like a Bledsoe, SGA, Booker, Herro, Ullis, etc.

The biggest difference now is the transfer portal, and what looks to be at least two or even three guards coming back that are already on the team. In Wheeler, Fredrick, and then Sharpe. Then when you add in another top guard coming in with Carson Wallace. It just made it a fit for him now. In years past, all the guards would be gone and wouldn’t matter if Cal had two top freshman guards come in, because they both would play.

He hurt his knee and hand and will not be healthy for awhile.

Did he just recently get hurt again?

So once again did he recently hurt that knee again? I know he partially tore his ACL in the summer, but did come back and was playing this winter. So he got hurt again?
