I believe GRC outscored Ashland 26-6 in the 4th quarter.

Cole Villers was out with knee problems. 
I didn’t get to see the game. I noticed it was tied at the half. Maybe he subbed in the last quarter.

Must have subbed in the 3rd quarter also.

I don’t know. I wasn’t able to watch the game. But something isn’t right. I just can’t see this Ashland Blazer team only scoring 15 points in an entire half. 

Consolation games can get weird at times.

I watched the game online, they didn’t start subbing until midway through the 4th. GRC just keyed in on there top two players and no one else could score for Ashland. They hung with them for a couple quarters though

The depth of GRC was the undoing in this one. But you are also correct, consolation games can get weird. 

It doesn’t get any easier for Ashland going forward. They have future games with Covington Catholic, Highlands, Bardstown, Pikeville, Boyd County (undefeated 12-0), Huntington, WVa, George Washington WVa, Calloway Co, Spring Valley WVa, Paintsville,   and they also usually have solid competition in their AIT but I don’t know who is in it this year. 
They will definitely need Cole Villers back ASAP. Hopefully he will heal and be ready. 

I went to this game. Terrific first half by both teams and they went to the break tied at 38. You could tell, however, that Ashland’s tank was about empty. Clark put the pedal down in the third quarter then blew it away in the fourth. This game is much more competitive with both teams at full strength on a random Friday night instead of the fourth game in as many days.
