A couple of thoughts for me:

Male got outcoached in the 2nd half…plain & simple. They got outcoached in the 2nd half of the 1st game as well, but the difference was that was a 3 TD lead at half; not a 3 pt. lead.

Mekhi Smith is a heck of a ball player.  That was the 1st time I saw him play in person & I can only say I’m disappointed because I waited until his last HS game.

As far as nonsensical chants coming from student sections, please someone correct if I’m wrong (I’m old & don’t hear as well anymore), but I swore I heard a chant come from the St X section that was ridiculous.

I wasn't sitting by student section since they were at end section plus facing visitor side so I didn't hear any of what they were saying. As far as Daddy's money chant, I wouldn't care if coming from poor school but Male is one of wealthy public schools plus we pay taxes so they can go there and be like a private school for free.

I will stand corrected on the chant then for now.  However, there were many people around me who thought they heard the same thing.

Im sure they were chanting stuff since student sections chant back and forth I just didn't hear it.

I hope this posts , I’ve seen a ton of pictures and videos from the game but I think this one is very cool. Video was right after our last touchdown!

I remember my HS days and we had maybe 8 cheerleaders. StX must have had 40+.  My how things have changed.

I actually think they should have kept feeding their RB.  St. X never really stopped him consistently.  Male seems so dependent on the explosive play that they tend to get impatient.

As an X fan, though, I thought it was helpful to X every time them handed the ball off.  Every handoff for Male was one more time they did not throw it up to their explosive receivers.

I only saw Male in the first X game. From TV highlights they seemed to like the big play and obviously putting a lot of points on the board. My suspicion is they got impatient as most teams do and did not one to just gut it out.
