Just got home. I remember back when these seniors and juniors were freshman and both classes went undefeated so I had this year circled as a championship year. Male improved so much since those frosh years and with St. X injuries, I didn't think it was going to happen but deep down I knew these guys could do it. I think M. Smith, M. Duddy, and J. Sivori played the best game of their careers when it mattered most. I also think it's hard to beat Trinity and St. X back to back. Male was a great team and had a great season but just wasn't their night. I truly feel bad for Nic Schutte but he should know his dad would have been proud of the way he battled to the end and the great plays he made tonight.

I have to agree with this statement!

This is the second time in the past three years that Male entered the final as a clear favorite (nobody was going to touch the 2020Trinity team) and have not been able to get it done despite superior talent

Another year won't have to hear the Male stadium announcer brag about being champions 100 times during the game.
