Always a blast and top shelf hospitality at HHS.  Thanks to Wes Caldwell and Coach Listerman and all the support staff.  Also 17th anniversary last night with this guy by my side. The J-man Jason Elfers and new Dad made time for a classic night.

Not much to gripe about on these offensive stats for the Birds.  I think both teams came out of the gate clicking offensively.

But what's the phrase, Defense wins Championships.....that side of the ball for both of these teams was lacking but I know that is what takes time normally for all sorts of teams.  I know even Coach Cal has talked about that in years past, that defense takes time to really click.

How many other NKY schools will be using the cashless entry format?  What happens if you're not carrying a phone?

Once I finally got in, it was a great game.

That depends on the school, but most I've seen have gone to an IPAD option if you don't have a phone with you.

We will see this more and more with schools. A lot of AD's and event workers saw how much better life is without the hassle of actual cash.

See State Banner in Highlands Gym from last year, that team didn't guard but they did REBOUND!!!

I would bet a shiny nickel that Walton had 20+ offensive rebounds.  Can't win giving good offenses multiple shots.

Totally agree!  This wasn't your typical need to pound down low and get rebounds coming off the rim.  This was secure the perimeter from those outside shooters.  Deep/long shots = long rebounds....

Again, you win or you learn....

Agree ... probably 20+ offensive rebounds for about 30 points!

Looking forward to seeing W-V soon....Pegasus Sports (www.pegasussportsky.com) will be broadcasting video coverage of the Bearcats the first week of January in the 8th Region All-A and again on 2/8/22 at South Oldham...

Man, that's a truckload of points for a HS game that didn't go into OTs.  Guessing there were upwards of 20 to 30 tired kids when the final horn sounded.

To echo @The Raven that is a ton of points.

Big win for Walton! Congratulations!
