Southwestern used superior field position to control the fourth quarter and the game. Special teams were big for Southwestern in the second half. The short punts by Pulaski and deep kickoffs for Southwestern left Pulaski playing the whole fourth quarter on their side of the field. Another big difference was Southwestern's defensive front against the Maroons offensive line. Pulaski couldn't give Polston enough time to let plays develop. He either had to take off or go straight to the check down right away.

No mud bowl this year.🙂They come to Douglass. Unless Woodford or Douglass lose they will both have all home games until the state final due to the two schools RPI.
