Perception IS reality, I guess. I did not know anything about this story, yesterday, when a person at work asked me if I knew where Hazard, Ky was. 

I said, "Yes. Southeastern Kentucky."

She asked, "Where you're from?"

I responded, "Not exactly, but in that general area."

She said, "That explains it."

So tweets from 20 years ago can get someone fired as a CEO, but this is OK because they've been doing it for years?   That makes zero sense in this or any alternate dimension.

3 Hazard, Kentucky school officials reprimanded for 'man pageant'

So from the sound of things, the end-all-be-all for this was a written reprimand from the school district and required training that the principal and the two other faculty/staffers who all participated in the event will have to attend.

Anyone else feel like that's a slap on the wrist, at best?

Oh boy a written reprimand.  Maybe it was delivered in a very serious tone, that will show them!

I wouldn't be sending my kid to school there, that's for sure. 

A written reprimand is a joke, and maybe whoever made that decision needs to be gone as well.

The sad thing about all of this is that if THIS is swept under the rug and dismissed as "it's what we do", can you imagine what else goes on?

Disappointed in a lot of adults in that system that should know better.
