St. X defense dominated tonight forcing multiple turnovers including a pick 6 and fumble returned for TD. Manual also hurt themselves with penalties. St. X offense took advantage of good field position from turnovers.

Great job X! I was fooled by the LaSalle game thinking this could be an upset special by Manual.

La Salle 4-4 now so not as good as previously thought. They are still good though. Going in though thought this would be close game. Was 14-3 at halftime and then the wheels came off for Manual. Manual had to get away from running game and start passing which created opportunities for interceptions. Manual can correct some things and make this closer game in playoffs.

Manual had 6 turnovers and Manual QB Darien Wilson threw 4 interceptions. JuWaun Northington was held to 56 yards and scored Manual's only TD.

St. X QB Jack Sivori accounted for 4 touchdowns (2 passing/2 rushing).

Had a feeling this wouldn't be close but seems like turnovers made it even larger of a margin.

Just don't think Manual has the linemen on either side of the ball to compete with Male or X.

Agreed on the above. I also don't believe the Manual passing game is consistent enough to play at the highest level of Class 6A. They can become very one-dimensional and if you're losing the line of scrimmage that dimension isn't going to be effective.

Kudos to the Tiger defense. They did a good job vs. the Manual passing game. I was surprised to see Manual abandon the downhill running game in the first half. I don’t think they featured their running back enough.

St. X has moved to #1 in 6A RPI. Since St. X has Butler next week with Butlers bad record then Male could move back to #1.

Yeah, Manual was stacking the box to stop Sivori so X had to pass more. Mekhi Smith was beneficiary getting 11 catches for 95 yards. Bennett Boehnlein was too with two TD catches.
