Wow, LCA moves to number one.  While I have been on the fence here (LCA/Beechwood) after watching LCA against Pikeville I would have kept Beechwood at number one but that is just me.

Is Pikeville better than any team Beechwood has played this season? Does Beechwood have any wins comparable to Boyle on the road or CAL on the road?

CovCath is better, no doubt in my mind.

I would have probably already had LCA number one before this week.  I am saying I was not as impressed with LCA this week and this would not have been the week I made a change.

But again, it is really close either way and LCA certainly has a better resume.

I’m curious to how good Green County is.

I saw them against Nelson County; not a great opponent but they looked really good. Solid line play and good skill. However, they really lacked depth. They are a top ten team but I'm not sure exactly where I'd put them.

This year it really doesn’t matter where you have anyone after 1 and 2.

I am not ready to write Mayfield off yet.

RPI could be a huge factor in who hosts and who travels for the state semifinals between Beechwood and Mayfield, assuming LCA wins out.

Assuming Beechwood beats Dixie I will be interested to see how things stand after that game.
