I think Agee’s been our best player so far this year by a good margin. Hopefully, we can get some more diversity in the QB run game as opposed to just running power and iso. With his athleticism, we should be able to do some fun and creative stuff.

This is a very loseable game again, but hopefully having a full complement of our best players for the first time this year should put us over the top. If we get anything from the passing game, and we should with receives like Benke and Zion, there’s no reason we shouldn’t put up a good number of points. Defensively, getting Jones back should be a big boost. He’s a really good player at inside linebacker.

I am hearing Benke is out yet again.  Zion is a must start both ways.  His explosiveness is needed badly on stagnant drives.
Dixie is still loaded with talent.  Plus they have a 3 star lineman upfront.

I will be surprised if this margin is less than 14 points and a CovCath win.  I think the worst thing that could have happened for Dixie and their chances was the last few minutes of that game last we

Why does CCH constantly have key players out? Benke, Jones last week, Zion a few games earlier this year. Is it due to injuries or Covid?

Disappointing. I think he’s a really good player and someone we need on the outside if Agee is the QB.

Stinks but this team has plenty of weapons. They just need to play without all the turnovers.

I will be surprised if this margin is less than 14 points and a CovCath win.  I think the worst thing that could have happened for Dixie and their chances was the last few minutes of that game last week and the coaches having a little egg on their faces over the "caught off guard" on-side kick.

Between that ending, and the campus-wide focus around Brian Williams and the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, they have had a VERY spirited week of practices from what I'm hearing.

I think Dixie sees the best of what this CovCath team can be tonight, and understand that is a far cry from the State Championship level version of the Blue Colonels from a few years ago, but I think the 2021's best version is too much for Dixie to deal with.

I'm also expecting some frustration in the 2nd half from the Red Colonels, some late penalties / turnovers, and the game to widen in the 4th quarter to the eventual 14+ point margin.

The weather should be great, the crowd should be huge, the emotions for students and alums alike will be running high, and it should be a special evening in Park Hills.

Hope both teams escape with no injuries, the game is hard-fought and well-played, and the monster crowd gets their money's worth.

Great stuff @The Double Deuce and I am looking forward to watching this game, it should tell us a lot about both teams and NKY Football in general.

Students are wearing blue "Remember 81" t-shirts in memory of Brian Williams, a 1990 Cov Cath football alum who died in the terror attacks at the World Trade Center.

Players are wearing all black in memory of ALL the lives lost in the September 11th attacks.

That's awesome!

An 81-second moment of silence prior to the game for Covington Catholic #81 Brian Williams, a Covington Catholic Hall Of Famer, and the namesake of the NKY Football Coaches Association Brian Williams "That's My Boy Award".
