I remember when I first moved here to KY. I use to hear a lot about PRP as one heck of a HS team. Is that still the word out there in Louisville Metro area?

PRP had -11 rushing yards last year against the purples D.  I don't think much changes - BG gave up 14 to Highlands and 10 to McCracken.  Purples will ride their D to victory.  I was impressed by the 2 forced fumbles against McCracken - 1 late to stop a drive.  I think BG turns that into some cheap points and their Offense some breathing room.  I would expect a 21-7 score similar to last year.

BG had similar offensive concerns last year (mainly in the form of play calling) - but they rode their strength to a state title.  The purples will still be a force to be reckoned with in 2021.

No. They had a few good teams but last few years haven't been good, plus are in a tough district with St. X and Manual.

Much better/ more competitive in basketball and baseball. 

 

 

I came across this video above, which gave the most info I could find on PRP and wanted to share.

I think that the Bowling Green wins this one in a low scoring defensive game 21-7.

I've been to one game at PRP and was fortunate enough to get to sit with @Purple88. Pretty cool place to watch a football game.

Might have been before that. Maybe 2017? They hosted X and lost, though it was a reasonably close ballgame.

Your right!  X beat PRP at PRP 35-21, but it was a relatively close game.  PRP would go on to lose 16-9 to X in the second round of the playoffs ending their 2017 season.

That night was fun though!

I remember that year. PRP had good team and people were picking them to beat St. X but they just played them close.

Couple interesting notes on this interview from Coach Williams:

- he thinks this is their best team since 2017 (the last year they defeated BG)

- He throws a little shade on Butler.  That's funny.

- He has a TON of energy and passion for the PRP Program.  Very impressive and PRP has the right guy for them I think.
