Male (1-0) will host Ballard (1-0) after making quick work of Floyd Central (IN) by getting a running clock in the 2nd quarter and 49-0 victory. Ballard is coming off a 28-3 win over Hopkinsville.

Male was led by RB Daniel Swinney rushing for 68 yards and 3 touchdowns on 6 carries for a very efficient day.

The Male defense put a goose egg on the scoreboard not letting the Highlanders sniff the endzone.

Ballard was led on offense by QB Tristan Hawkins who threw for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns. Chaunte Marrero led the receivers with 93 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ballard was led on defense by Gavin Willis with 11 tackles and 2 sacks. Highly rated college prospect JaDarion Smith had 6 tackles and 3.5 sacks. The defense played very well not giving up a touchdown.

Both teams are stepping up in competition but Ballard is moving up to the top competition. Male barely broke a sweat against Floyd Central, will the starters have to play 4 quarters against the Bruins? Can Ballard's defense slow the combo of Vinny Anthony & Daniel Swinney? Who wins?
 

Male at a different level.

Ballard with some dudes, but they were also down to Hopkinsville 3-0 at the half.

I don't expect running clock, but I expect very comfortably Male.

This one will likely get ugly, I think Ballard’s defense can play, particularly the defensive line, but the offense really struggled last week against Hoptown, and a date with the best defense in Kentucky awaits.

Male will win by a few TDs. I saw a video the Male QB posted from their game this past Friday and man Male has tall WRs! I don’t know how you defend all of them. 

This is where I’ll be this week. I think Male wins, but I’m interested to see what Ballard does. 

Ballard’s Defense is the real deal. They will keep them in it but the Ballard OL will struggle mightily versus the Male Defense. They only scored one offensive TD vs Hopkinsville and that was late in the 4th. 
 

I’ll go Male 28-0.. 

Last meeting was 2019 and score was Male 41-14. 
 

I think Male wins 35-0. 

 

I believe GLICOD is going to have Male coaching legend Bob Redman on the broadcast crew for the game.
