CincySportsFan Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Opening Day! Let's Go!!!! Probable Starters: (Thu) Luis Castillo vs. Jack Flaherty (Sat) Tyler Mahle vs. Adam Wainwright (Sun) Jeff Hoffman vs. Carlos Martinez Sonny Gray and Michael Lorenzen start the season on the DL. Hope we can avoid another 1-8 type of start while they're gone. 1 1
Jack of all Trades Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Afraid it is going to be another long year. Starting rotation is weak, bullpen questions and lineup does not make enough contact to consistently win.
nkypete Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 I know it was just spring training, but 7-19??? Geez.

I put absolutely zero into any team's won-loss record after the changes they made this year. Seven inning games is one thing, but a team on defense being allowed to stop an inning after 25 pitches?!?!? Absurd.

MJAlltheWay24 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Probably going to make me sound like a bitter dude but I have a small amount of joy that it is snowing and in the 30's for Opening Day, on the second year that I'm not allowed to work it. 1

Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Cardinals are up 6-0 after the top of the 1st on Opening Day. 9 batters got on base.

Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 At least the Reds got ONE. Winkler scores from third on a wild pitch. 6-1 Cardinals in the bottom of the 1st.
