stick1
Just thinking about how the two of them are a lot alike. 1. The both were ruined in that awful place they call Cleveland! It's like a black hole for QB's! Neither had weapons around them and both were taken out of their system which leads me to point 2. 2. Look at Garcia's career. Pro Bowler at San Fran awful with Det and Cleve. Thriving in Philly. Why..... because he is a system QB. Put him in the right system and he is going to be hard to beat. Take him out of it and you are forcing him against what he is good at ala Mike Vick. Same thing with Couch. Having no weapons kills any QB but had he been put in the right system I still feel he would have thrived much like Garcia has. I was just thinking about the two and how there game is a lot alike although Garcia is a much better scrambler while Couch is better in the pocket. Jim Schue
The only thing Tim Couch has over Jeff Garcia is he was drafted higher. Well, maybe Couch's wife as well, but from all the rumors, I don't think Garcia feels he's missing out.

AverageJoesGym
Couch had to play behind no line with no running game for more than one year. Garcia was lucky. Couch was the most sacked qb every year he played. It isn't because he just wanted to run. He had no line and his arm was shredded. Look at his numbers overall, he could make all the throws. He just couldn't repair the injuries..........

futurecoach
Some of you all need to give up with this Tim Couch stuff...I love Couch, but lets face it he was a flop in the NFL. If he was really that good, and it was just because of Cleveland was that bad, then why hasn't he still not found a job ever since he left Cleveland??? mcpapa
Couch flopped. Pitino and Tubby missed on C-Lo. The Cats had no chemistry last year. Somewhere in this state there's an unlevel playing field. I know I'm missing a few.

It's been three years since he last played. No FB-related injury takes that long to heal. He needs to just announce retirement so that we can end this discussion once and for all, and you UK fans can move on.

Couch has had more than one surgery and you or I do not know how long it will take his injury to heal. Only Tim Couch and his Dr. know the answer and I am sure that when he decides to retire he will let everyone know. As a UK and T. Couch fan I hope he comes back to the league someday if it his will to do so.
