Great win for the CATS, and a great game for Jodie Meeks. And we found out that orbzut can play a little ball too. 3 years straight feels great! And what was up with Rick P. saying that there freshman class this year was like tony delk and that freshman class they had at UK? I really couldn't see what he was talking about.

Meeks keeps it up, and Crawford will see his minutes a game go down.

When you get ZERO offensive production out of your top 2 players and yet you still win, you're happy.

They remind me of the 03-04 team, Not how they're playing, but when they develope.

Was shocking. I mean I have seen some teams that are cold, but it was just really bad today for UL. I, unlike some others, was not too impressed with UK's defense today. UL got tons of open looks, luckily they did not make hardly any of them.

Just a random thought but it seems almost like Palacios has regressed. He seemed much better as a freshman and sophmore. A lot of UL fans were comparing him to Mashburn when he came in. He just doesn't seem to have developed, maybe he needs to go back to wearing those Oakleys on the court.

Ugly game, but it feels really good to get our third in a row over the Cards.

 

Morris was a non-factor due to foul trouble, but the freshman stepped up big time.

Porter played steady in the second half, and hit a three in the first half.

Meeks was huge in the second half.

Jasper played a sound floor game.

Stevenson did OK.

Obrzut was huge...played very good defense against Padgett.

Thomas had a quiet game and hit a huge baseline jumper.

Bradley tried to do a little too much in the second half but hit FT's.

 

They got very little from Perry, Crawford, and Morris and still won by double digits on the road over their rival.

 

UL

What's the issue? Shooting today, but I will give UK's defense some credit of taking a lot of away from them.

I think one of the big problems for UL is Palacious. Body like Tarzan, and a game like Jane. Simply he is soft. He has some tools, but is soft. He plays like a Xavier player.

In addition, UL is not very good in the halfcourt on defense.

Derrick Caracter, simply has a very low hoop IQ. Maybe it is weight loss and adjusting, but this kid has had some issues including being booted from his high school team. Pitino is a magician at the mental game and hopefully he can do some things with this kid.

The UL post game on WHAS will be ugly.

I love the 3rd and 4th phantom foul calls on Morris in this game. Refs were pathetic!!!! Good win for UK and UL is just terrible this year.

I agree it wasnt as much UKs D as it was UL just missing open shots.

UL will be lucky to even make the NIT.

I thought the UL press was very unimpressive. There was always a quick and wide open outlet pass available...
