Just a random thought but it seems almost like Palacios has regressed. He seemed much better as a freshman and sophmore. A lot of UL fans were comparing him to Mashburn when he came in. He just doesn't seem to have developed, maybe he needs to go back to wearing those Oakleys on the court.

I was thinking the very same thing. :thumb: (outside of the Oakleys)

I thought the UL press was very unimpressive. There was always a quick and wide open outlet pass available...

I am happy with Sheray Thomas' contribution today. Good to see for the senior.

UL will be lucky to even make the NIT.

Now now I wouldn't go that far.

This is the worst UL team that I've seen in recent memory.

:thumb: They let UK get the middle of the floor very easily.

He said it for me.

I thought there were some encouraging things about the game and some dissapointments.

We didnt get what we need to out of Morris, Perry, and Crawford. All 3 had subpar games.

Meeks, Jasper, and Woo all played well for us and made plays. Woo played a whale of a game! And Meeks was on, and we really needed that.

BTW, Sheray Thomas made some nice plays as well.

Finally, would anyone trade our freshmen for UL's? Caracter and Sosa played very poorly. I know its early, but at this point our freshmen are much farther along than UL's.

UL has some potential as a whole, I hope they get going before its too late in the season.

Could be close, Tough BEast conf.

So people complain about Tubbys zone all the time and wish we had press like rick. Well if UK pressed like that I wouldn't be to happy, and would want the zone back.

Easy now, remember the talk about the recruits, UL has far better recruits.

It's difficult to trap a 6'5''+ point guard when he can just throw it over the top. The trap was effective, but whoever was in the middle of the press did a very poor job. Louisville did not rotate well at all.

Regarding Louisville's shooting woes. You can credit Kentucky's D all you want, but when the Cards are getting wide open looks is that really the defense? Simply put, Louisville stunk today & Kentucky benefitted. Had the Cards shot the ball a little bit better (or even had 1 guy shoot well), then I feel like this board could have a much different tone. And that's what makes me nervous.

No UL fans yet, WOW.........

Oh wait, they're still waiting for the BCS game before they start the basketball season. :jump:
