Kentucky at Louisville Predictions/Updates

The 1-5 Wildcats travel 60 miles west on I-64 to take on the Cardinals this Saturday at noon. The Cards travel to Pittsburgh for an ACC game on tomorrow night. The Cats as they have been for the past month are in bad need of win.

Maybe at full strength this year's Cards could beat this year's UK, but they're not at full strength, not even close.

My prediction: some bad basketball will be played. It is games like this I wish I were not a UK fan because this game has no redeeming qualities about it from a match-up perspective.

Looks like Coach Cal has asked Fletcher to step away from the team for a bit to reevaluate himself after the temper tantrum that I guess he had during Saturday's game over playing time.

I just saw Cal's statement on it. I didn't like it.

Fletcher sent this out yesterday, so I was a little surprised to see Cal's statement today:

Fletcher flew home yesterday. He more then likely won’t be back. That’s the first domino to fall. Betting Allen isn’t far behind him. KY is a team that has serious internal issues. UL will win 68-60

As I said, I didn't like it. He (Fletcher) must have really struck a nerve and said/did something he shouldn't have. Cal is incredibly calculated so I know there is method to the madness, so that is all I am holding on to with this case.

I remember Cal did say when he took this job. That a job like UK is a job that a coach usually can only stay at for 10 years at most. Due to all the stress, mainly from our fan base. Looks like he may be right. 
 

I don’t even think a Coach K could have lasted as long at UK, as he has at Duke without the fanbase turning on him.

The game has been changed to ESPN at 1pm instead of ESPN 2 at 12pm.
