I wonder if means Bowling Green coming off St.X schedule?

I always like to see intersectional games.

Could be replacing DeSales since opened with them last two years. I could see this since take a RPI hit playing 3A team compared to 5A team.

I love this for Owensboro, especially. This is the type of game their schedule is missing this year.

HUGE for Owensboro!  Gets them on the map really.  With their local and district schedule they critically needed this game!  Great for them!  Good competition for X as well.

As far as 94 said, I hope BG doesn't come off X schedule.  Can't see who would come on!  Hopefully not the Green Bay Packers.

I’m thinking might be replacing DeSales and would make RPI sense to do it.

Love it!  Great move Devils football and Coach Fallin!  Week 1 though...no warmup game!  Even the series!

Always like when teams travel out of their region to play high profile games. Better competition & exposure for both teams.

This is awesome! I know Coach Wallace has a “special” place for Owensboro in his football heart. Also, Rash Stadium is a great venue!

God willing, I will be there!

I hope the BG/St. X series continues. I think it is a great series for both teams.

I agree. Always competitive games.

Rash Stadium is a great place to watch a game!  If BG doesn't have an interesting game, I may come too!  With my standard visit to Old Hickory Barbeque beforehand, of course!!!

Is Old Hickory the rival of Moonlight?

It seems like this game will replace the DeSales game. Not that St. X did DeSales a favor, but it feels like the 3 game series was more of a series to relive the "old days" for the athletic department and football staff. Plus, as stated earlier DeSales doesn't do much for the RPI. I can see BG/St. X continuing their series as long as the series stays competitive as it is now, which I don't see why the competition level would drop off any time soon.
