Exactly what I was thinking. Anyone that has Chicago's defense in their fantasy league is cleaning up (if they include special teams with the defense).

They were making some noise about Hester being an MVP-type candidate last night because of his influence on the game. I wouldn't go that far (LT and Brees are 1a and 1b right now), but he's a pro-bowler as a return man for sure.

He certainly changes the game. All he needs is one good block to hit the outside and he is gone!

The first one he took back last night was nothing more then a blown coverage.

But, there are a lot of returners who can't take it to the house even on a blown coverage. Hester was a great pick for the Bears...similar to Jermaine Lewis (is that right?) when Baltimore rode their defense to a title. How many times have he and the Bear defense been directly responsible for giving the Bears enough to win a game. With their schedule, it's possible they could have made the playoffs without an offense...:lol:

Like it said on there last night, Grossman and the offense left the field with 5 minutes to go in the half and didn't return until 7 minutes to go in the 3rd. The Bears defense and Special Teams are amazing.....

I wasn't saying that was the reason he took it to the house. Just that was how it looked to me on TV. He is fast and a great player with or without blown coverage.

Hester has been a great return man from day one, the problem with him is he never really settled into one set position on offense or defense.

Everytime I watch this guy he gets a TD on a return of some kind. It started back at Miami, and he hasn't let up since. I'll tell you one thing, he is doing wonders for my fantast league.

As a life-long Chicago Bears fan, it is so nice to have some speed on the team. I can't remember anyone between Willie Gault and Devin Hester who was fast! That's bad.
