Bama's coaching search?

Featured Replies

At his Press Conference he stated before it began..."if anyone has any questions...I'll kick them in the ear...each ear." The stock for "Just For Men" has doubled in Alabama.

I thought this guy signed to be the new manager of the Texas Rangers.

Are you doubting that Chuck Norris is capable of doing both?

The reason he has yet to respond to you, strike-3, is because when Chuck Norris read what LSURock put on this message board, he delivered a roundhouse kick through his computer and took him out.

On another note, I heard espn say today that Saban was not out of the running for the Bama job which according to their reliability about this issue probably means that it is cetain that Saban will not be Bama's next coach.

I'd rather have some more fun with Chuck. The longer we wait the more it will be after the NFL and Bowl season. Reminds me when I asked my wife to marry me. "I'll get back to you and let you know". Took about 3 weeks.

Kinda slow waiting until the bowl and NFL seasons end. Heard on a radio show last nite that Nick Saban has AGAIN said no. I don't know why we are still talking about him. I have been against him as our coach since the getgo. Jim Grobe, Paul Johnson, Greg Schiano, and Gary Patterson is who I'd talk to.

Looks like Mal and the boys are still searching:

I can't make out the name on the tombstone...looks like Bear...something...:D

This is prime recruiting time....they are missing....they had better find someone before Signing Day, or this will be a miserable class.

Right now its a "dead period" so that helps us. We have 14 verbals and just one is wavering which says alot about these kids. Also there are 15 Redshirts that could have played last year. Some just want to play for a school no matter who the coach is and that also is a big help. We are doing the right thing by waiting. I just hope we don't have a "John L" thing and can wait until after the Coach we are gettin game is over. I'm Hearing a name but will wait to be sure, but it is huge.

They need to get somebody fast! This is not got for a program the caliber of Ala. The only thing I can figure is that maybe they are waiting for an NFL guy and for the season to be over. I know that has played into hiring coaches in the past.

Cower was linked for the NC State job for awhile so you never know. I've also heard guys like Saban's name thrown around to come back to college.

It isn't over with Coach Saban. I'd say its better than 50-50 that Coach Saban will take the Bama job. I just hope if he does the Bama faithful realize that he doesn't play politics, at all.

After I said that they talked all night about Saban last night. That would be interesting to say the least! He seems like the type of guy that loves the college game. I know I would be thrilled to snag him if I'm a Bama fan!
