gchs_uk9
There used to be one at Paducah, Jackson, and Sullivan in Lexington. I’m not sure any have played basketball since the late 80s/early 90s.

Paducah has had a club team for for around 15 years. They play a JUCO schedule and the past few years a pretty solid schedule. Some have went on to play at 4 year schools. Jumper_Dad
Campbellsville University-Somerset has a team, but I am not sure if it's technically a junior college or not.
jacksonpurchase
By giving kids a place to play. Out of state JUCO's take kids from KY (but out of state tuition for walk-ons/partial scholarships are out of some kids reach financially) if we had legit JUCO's giving scholarship to KY kids would be awesome even if some where partial scholarships. Illinois is full of JUCO's.

Jumper_Dad
Do JUCO's give scholarships? I know watching the football documentaries, those kids are on their own dime. Using Pell Grants and other aid along with student loans to pay the way.

Sullivan is in Louisville. They were always in the mix for championships. A lot of great players went through there. In the late 90s, they announced that they were going “4 year”, but then never brought basketball, or any sport back.

There is a Sullivan College branch in Lexington but the main campus was Louisville. Here's an interesting article about Sullivan's basketball history. Nathaniel Bryan
St. Catharine was a JUCO before going NAIA. Struggled financially as a JUCO due to travel and at NAIA for four-year scholarships. Sports couldn't save Urbana and Cincinnati Christian, either.
