Cubster's 16th Region Poll 12/10/06

Featured Replies

C'mon, Rowan is missing 3 players, a trainer, 2 cheerleaders, an assistant coach, a mascot, and the athletic director has the flu. With all of those back in action they may very well be #1.......Just ask Wireman!:D

Actually, Rowan was missing Matt Daniel, but he back in the lineup now. Without him in the lineup they lost in double OT to West. With him in the lineup, they mopped the court with West. Rowan has alot of experience in that backcourt and the big kid is getting it done down low.

Hey, I'm not in the area any longer, but your synopsis makes sense...also, wasn't the win over West this week on West's home floor? Brings even more justification to West's first win being with an asterisk.

OK, now I know how you got your name. ;)

I have to admit I was skeptical that Rose Hill's young players could handle the bus ride to West Liberty and Beat Perry's boys, the fact that they did is much more impressive than people realize, I want to be the first one on bgp to move Rose Hill up to #2 in the 16th region poll, and move Rowan and Elliot to 3a and 3b, Rose Hill has two big time bodies that are just tough matchups for anyone. If they can get some conistent scoring and ball handling from the other 3 spots, they could spend some time at #1 THIS YEAR :scared:

The Elliot and Rose Hill matchup is shaping up to be a classic, that game should determine our All A representative this year

bottom line, Rose Hill is young, but they are getting "older by the minute"

The future is now:scared:

Why do i all of a sudden feel warm & fuzzy, and like a rose hill supporter just got 3ys. free intrest? :bunny:

Yep!:thumb: Just trying to give a little back to Wireman,,,,he deserves it! But he's a big boy and can dish as well as take! :walk:

You can't call another member a ding dong and get away with it. I will seek revenge. By the way wasn't the Laurel Gorge a beautiful sight in the dark? How many times are Rose Hill and Elliott scheduled? Do Rowan and Rose Hill play?

Hey, it's nothing I wouldn't say about you behind your back.

Greenup plays to good of defense for it to have gotten to U-L-G-Y.:thumb:

With the open looks Russell's shooters had, yes it would have...:thumb:

Those shots were falling earlier in the week but with no legs in the second half (after playing their fourth game in five nights) they just kept finding the front of the rim. Greenup does play good defense, but Vanhoose and others still managed to find open shots, just came up a little short all night.

Maybe its just a gut feeling but i would NOT be surprized if it is Elliott,Russell and then Rose Hill by tournament time.

I think Russell is the clear favorite at this point. Everyone else has holes, be it size, depth, shooting, etc. Matchups will play a big part in who goes to Rupp. I think Russell is the most capable of winning 3 in a row at Morehead but there are a few teams who could beat them on a given night.

I am looking forward to seeing the new polls. I think that Russell, Elliott, and fast closing Rose Hill has to be the new top 3 teams.

I would still have to put Rowan in the top 2-3.

Naaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! Really?

IMO, If Rose Hill possibly were to spend some time at #1 over Russell as Shooterx3 states I think it would be more of a Russell falter than RH finding something from the other 3 spots on the floor. This is simply Russells to lose as they should remain at the #1 spot the whole year.
