April 11, 20206 yr I figured we could start a thread about the upcoming ESPN documentary coming out on April 20th. I believe it's a 10 episode documentary. Anyone else looking forward to this? Also I put this in the break room so it could hopefully get more views, it could probably go in about 4 different threads really. Edited April 11, 20206 yr by sportsfan41 10 episode correction
April 11, 20206 yr I will watch. I need to be reminded about how good Jordan was. I wonder sometimes about that. Not that he was great but was he really that great.
April 17, 20206 yr On Bill Simmons' pod was the guy who filmed everything from that season. The thought was this would never get green-lighted, but Jordan got on board about three years ago so here we are. I am pumped.
April 17, 20206 yr Author I noticed an article somewhere online yesterday where Jordan had stated that he felt people would think he was a bad person after they watch this documentary. I didn't have time to read the article but thought that was an interesting take from him.
April 17, 20206 yr I noticed an article somewhere online yesterday where Jordan had stated that he felt people would think he was a bad person after they watch this documentary. I didn't have time to read the article but thought that was an interesting take from him. I hear it is raw and brings to light his killer mindset and demeanor. Stuff we always heard about, but rarely got to see.

I didn't have time to read the article but thought that was an interesting take from him. I feel like a lot of people already know the MJ wasn't exactly the nicest guy, so this didn't remotely come as a shock to me. I'm was actually glad to hear this because it is going to make for a much better documentary.
April 18, 20206 yr Very few Apex Competitors were easy on their own teammates. I expect this to be a bit like reading "Season on the Brink," which made Knight out to be a jerk...but you understood why he was the way he was.
April 18, 20206 yr To clarify from the thread title, this is not a Michael Jordan documentary. It is about the final Bulls’ title run. Obviously Jordan will be the central character because.... well, he’s Michael Jordan. Beyond Jordan, it’ll be interesting to see the dynamics with the late Jerry Kraus.
April 19, 20206 yr If you watch on ESPN, you’re getting the uncensored TV-MA version. Tune in to ESPN2 if you want the censored version.
April 20, 20206 yr Really enjoyed the first two episodes. I knew Jordan and Pippen had beef with Jerry Krause, but I didn't realize that it was that bad. The story about 90/10% and bottle of pills with Jordan is great.
