Bearcats come back from a 9-point deficit in the second half and inch closer to March Madness. Tre Scott with a monster 25/19 game.

Huge win for UC. They have almost no margin for error. They aren't even in Jerry Palm's 8 teams on the ball as of now.

UC played tough down the stretch. That Williams dunk to tie it at 71 was huge.

Palm is literally the worst national prognosticator to follow any more. He is tied to the RPI and that metric is dead in projecting the field. UC still has work to do, but they are in much better position than Palm's dreadful updates.

That was a nice play.

Great win for UC, although it wasn't pretty for a lot of the night. The young players for UC did a great job early in keeping them in it when Jarron and others battled foul trouble.

Late, Jarron did what he does, and as was mentioned, Tre Scott had the game of his UC career (thus far). You know when Doris Burke (whom I'm a huge fan of, although I know many aren't) is talking about how Tre Scott could fit in the NBA, he is having a great night!

I’m with you on Doris Burke. I think she’s one of the best hoops analysts out there, although it seems like I’m in the minority.

He doesn’t get a lot of pub but I think Williams saved the Cats in this one. Fun game, Achiuwa is a pro, it’s cool seeing that kinda talent in person.

What worries me is that Jarron and Vogt had 0 points in the first half. Thanks to Tre Scott or the cats could have been down by 20 plus in the first half.

Who do you think has a good read on it in the current selection system?

Before this game, the ESPN guy (Lunardi) had them as "last four in". Take that for what it's worth.

Why does that worry you? The game is over and they won without those guys in the first half doing much. That is a good thing not a bad thing, because that shows they are getting better with others stepping up. Usually those two would do more, so there isn’t much to worry about imo.
