Bearcats win the AAC East division and will play in the conference championship in 2 weeks.

 

Win at Memphis next week and they host that game.

 

This team is extremely flawed (Ridder 9-25 passing for 62 yds is terrible) but still 10-1.

Ugly to watch at times on a cold wet night, but will take a win when you can get one, good seeing Walter tonight. Ridder has to be hurting, they have to throw the ball next week.

Situational play calling has to improve... 1st and goal from the 6 right before the half and Denbrock draws up 3 pass plays rather than giving Mike Warren 3 chances to gain 6 yds. UC got 3 out of that possession, but if not for the blocked PAT that was returned by Coby Bryant for 2, UC could have lost this game.

 

Des is obviously hurting and it shows in the passing game. I know Fick is loyal to his guy that is 21-3 as a starter, but I really think he needs to give Ben Bryant a look this week if they want to beat Memphis.

The D is going to have to play over the top, after what I saw Memphis do to UC's last opponent, last night. Memphis is a scoring machine.

While were cleaning up on the dock in the 4th quarter, we heard an extended cheer and I said, "Something crazy must have just happened" and turns out that when's the blocked the XP and returned it for 2. Huge special teams play.

 

I'm not sure I've ever wanted a college football team to win a game more than I do next week. Let's go!

I was in a bar watching the 2nd half and there definitely is a lot of interest around town in the Bearcats.

I agree Des needs to get rid of that (seems to have taken sacks like that often lately for whatever reason), BUT... The play should have never been called to begin with, especially considering how much Des has struggled throwing the ball these past few weeks.
