McCracken County sits at 9-3 on the season. They are averaging just over 42 points per game while giving up 27 points per game

McCracken has a great offense and their D has suddenly stepped it up. I get NH being favored but McCracken has some great athletes. It won’t surprise me either way really. But I’ll take the Mustangs.

I think North Hardin wins, but McCracken Co will give them all they want. From what I’ve read McCracken has a good offense, and while North Hardin has a good defense I see McCracken scoring enough to put pressure on North Hardin’s offense to make some plays.

I'm sure North Hardin is a GREAT defensive team. McCracken will come with a variety of sets and their play design is off the charts. I've been very impressed with how they move the QB around, mix the run and pass and get other people involved if Hayes is covered by 2 to 3 people. They've played a good schedule that includes Paducah Tighlman, BG, Mayfield, Henderson twice, etc. They did get blasted by BG, but beat Mayfield and probably should have beat PT. Yes I would say North is favored, especially at home. Hayes is a phenomenal receiver, as well as the other guy lining up opposite him (had the big week last week). For the Mustangs, Wheat is a gamer and can run or pass. He will get out of the pocket alot on the different play designs they use. I think McCracken coaching staff will have them ready and I know they expect to compete and win. I think McCracken is the much better offense and North is the much better defense. We will see how it plays out.

If McCracken is giving up 27 a game, they certainly aren't going to have enough defense to slow down NH.

McCracken County's best chance to move the ball against North Hardin is the short, quick 10 yard passing routes (slants), or getting it out on the edges with screens. If your corners and safety aren't a strong point of your defense, NH QB Manie Wimberly and a host of athletic receivers will make you pay downfield. In 2013-15-17, when a District 2 team (Central Hardin), played a District 1 team in the playoffs, District 2 (CH), ended up in the state semi-finals or the finals with Meade County in 2013. This will be the case again in 2019.

Quite frankly North is just a better team so I’m going NH 35-7.

North Hardin’s defense has 51 turnovers and is allowing 87.1 passing yards and 44.6 rushing yards per game. This defense has also only allowed 97 points on the season and 7.9 points a game. I would be surprised if McCracken County can move the ball on this top rated defense. North Hardin's field is not a great field in good weather and with rain expected Thursday and Friday I expect the field to deteriorate quickly.
