You are wrong. Not one person from Russell that I have seen in these posts have a problem with Mercer. It's the KHSAA that they have a problem with. Don't be so thin skinned. We all congratulated the coaches and the team. It's a few of the fans from Mercer who want to gloat that we can't stand.

Is there any excuses listed above that I missed. How long have you been dying to say that to someone, I'd say a good while now. That program was completely incorrect and I think you know that. It's not garbage, it is what it is. The program was INCORRECT! You know that.

These young men worked for this title and will be proud of it regardless of who tries to tarnish it.

It had a preview of team and under enrollmont it had Mercer enrollment and something like 680 approx. I guess they used last year's # or something.

That is a difference of 33% between Mercer and Russell and a 42% difference between Trinity and Ryle.

YES YOU ARE RIGHT THEY WOULD ONLY HAD 30 MORE KIDS THAN US WITHOUT THE MERGER

I don't now about that but I do know that next year Russell will be 3A and Mercer will go to 5A but Ryle will still be in 6A with Trinity. Again who has the gripe.

It's a legitimate question, joedirt ... whether you like it or not. As far as "sad and tasteless" ... you are entitled to your opinion, regardless of how much it's colored by your bias and incredible sensitivity.

 

And I'm not from Russell ... so rest easy.
