October 26, 20196 yr Sooners not entirely out of the playoff picture, but definitely on the outside looking in. Just not enough defense.
October 26, 20196 yr Not good. On the flip side it helps Notre Dame out as long as they can take care of business tonight.
October 26, 20196 yr This game changes nothing since OU fought back. They will still get in over a 1 loss non p5 champ imo. For the record I believe Oregon would as well.
October 26, 20196 yr I was obviously watch the Ohio State game, but when I saw that OU was losing 48-23 I assumed Jalen Hurts had a bad game. Just checked the box score and wow he had himself a game.

He played very well but the Sooner defense just could not stop the Wildcats in the 2nd half especially the 3rd quarter.

No non-P5 is getting in, so yes they would get in over them. OU and Oregon need to worry about a one loss Penn St or one loss Bama/LSU.

Would I still put a 1 loss champ in over a 1 loss non champ? Yes. Assuming it’s not a situation where the champ has a bad loss I.e. Ohio State last year. Oklahoma losing on the road by a TD to what will end up being a ranked team is not that kind of loss.

OSU has hammered everyone just like OU has, let's say they lose by a score to eventual B1G champ Penn St. A close loss to an undefeated Penn St is much better than a loss at Kansas State. The conference title doesn't mean much unless your picking between teams with the same record from the same conference. Just my opinion, but you look at the entirety of the season and a title isn't an auto bid.

The only possible one I could see is if Bama loses to LSU without Tua. That would be interesting.

October 27, 20196 yr He played very well but the Sooner defense just could not stop the Wildcats in the 2nd half especially the 3rd quarter. Kansas State is coached by former North Dakota State coach Chris Klieman. He's 77-15 all time as a head coach. Very good hire to replace Bill Snyder. He should do well there; today's win over Oklahoma is a good start.
