Louisville 62 Wake Forest 59

Not a lot of defense, clearly. But I’ll take a road conference win against a ranked team any time.

Wake being ranked shows us how bad college football is after the top 5 or 6. Good win for UL though, any road win is earned.

What a game, I mean really... WHAT A GAME! Wow, Go Cards!

Nice win for the Cards, I’ll gladly take it. The defense continues with its issues, but at least they are winning. I thought that it would be possible to be at .500 after playing Clemson and they can still have a winning record if they lose to them. The Cards are in a good place overall right now with consideration to all of the changes and obviously with how last season went.

Anyone see the UL assistant coaches in warm ups? Are they normally like that?

They are in a good spot. There’s only one more guaranteed loss on the schedule, next weekend. Everything else is winnable. Doesn’t mean they will, but they have a chance to get to six.

Only the 4th time in ACC history both teams scored 50+.

Evan Conley is a gamer! Any road win is a great win especially when D gives up over 600 yards.

Wake scored 4 TDs in the 4th quarter in a span of what----7 minutes ? Unbelievable, but UL held on. Some of the plays UL ran reminded me of the old, free-wheeling Boise State offense. Great win. Satterfield is doing one heck of a job.

Wake and UofL scored 45 points in 8:04 in the 4th Quarter.

I thought that awful voodoo dark magic crap that caused us to lose to Virginia and Duke was about to kill my hopes and dreams.

I’m just tickled with the offense.

Louisville is always a wild card. You never know what team is going to show up.

Whew. That lack of depth nearly cost the Cards. Defense was completely dead by the end of that game. I thought I heard the announcers say that Wake ran almost 90 plays.

Thanks to Hassan Hall and the special teams unit for being the separating factor in this one.

This defense is only going to feel thinner as the season goes, but I’m starting to believe they can find two more victories against this schedule and make a bowl.

RE: Receiving Onsides Kicks....

Why don't the players who will not be catching the ball block for the player--before the catch attempt -- who is actually receiving it? Tutu Atwell got knocked into next week when tried to catch one. Seems to me this would take a lot of pressure off the receiver.

What a crazy game! Congrats to UofL. Coach Satterfield is doing a super job!

The Freshman QB really played well with few exceptions and should only get better.

Yes, they'll lose to Clemson, but I think they make a bowl game this year! And after the train wreck last year, that's truly remarkable!
