Paducah Tilghman hosts one of the elite this week when Mayfield comes to town. Paducah has been putting up the points in their 2 games while Mayfield looks to stop that streak. Who wins?

Mayfield has a 13 game winning streak in the series and lead overall 49-46-10 in the history of the two.

 

I sure hope this is the year that streak ends.

 

Nothing but respect for the Mayfield program from us at Tilghman. Hoping for a good game and no doubt the stadium will be packed to capacity.

Normally I wouldn't do it, but I picked the upset.

Can PT throw it? I guess we’ll find out.

At this time last week I would've said nobody will be able to stay in a game with Mayfield the entire season. I was then proven wrong on Friday when Hoptown gave them all they wanted. I say they bounce back and play a solid game and win by 3 scores. 45-28 Cards.

Everything tells me Mayfield should win this one by 3-4 TD's...

 

 

... But I have a weird feeling on this one that it may be a nail biter.

 

Let's go with Mayfield by an early missed XP that lingers large in the late game play-calling of an eventual 4 point margin.

I keep looking at this game every year wondering if this will be the year. It has to happen at some point. PT is playing great ball right now, but I just don't know if it will be enough. If they can hit multiple big strikes from the air, I think they win.

Mayfield has to show more than they did last week against Hoptown (because I think PT is better than Hoptown). Either way, I feel like this will be a one score game.

This is pretty much my thinking as well. I like the look of this Tilghman team, but until they break the streak, or Mayfield has a down year, I've got to ride with the Cards. I'm looking for a close game with a lot of points.

I'm obviously a little biased in regards to it, but I've always liked it too. I thought it was so cool when I was a little kid and it's still my favorite.

I'm a McCracken fan but I've always liked the Tilghman mascot! He is so cool!
