August 30, 20197 yr The only gravy I like is sausage gravy for breakfast. I very rarely eat any other gravy. If you see me eating some other gravy over my meat, someone really messed up cooking the meat.
August 30, 20197 yr White gravy that I make, sometimes I will throw in some Webber's hot or sage sausage.
August 30, 20197 yr Gravy is a tough one for me to pick because I like pretty much any type of gravy and each type has it's own foods that it works with. So white sausage gravy for breakfast foods. Brown gravy for mashed potatoes. Regular white gravy for country fried steak/chicken. Turkey gravy at Thanksgiving. Sorry that's the best I can do, cant choose just one, gravy is food specific for me.
August 30, 20197 yr White gravy made from tenderloin or porkchop drippings is by far the best, put it over a pile of broken up biscuits and I don't need anything else for breakfast. Chocolate gravy over buttered biscuits is incredible. Brown gravy over stuffing and mashed potatoes would be my number three.
August 31, 20197 yr I was raised in a house that served gravy every night for supper. Regardless of what the entree was. On Sunday's gravy was served at every meal. Food was considered just a vessel for gravy. I love it all, but can't eat it anymore.

I had never heard of chocolate gravy until my future wife and I went to her roommate’s home in Pike County. Still the only place I’ve ever had it.

September 3, 20197 yr Growing up in an Italian neighborhood. What most Americans call sauce is gravy. So, red gravy is my favorite, followed closely by sausage gravy. I pretty much like all gravies when pared with the right food though.
