Michael Vick

Featured Replies

After Atlanta got spanked in todays game QB Michael Vick while walking off the field had some harsh words for some angry fans and also flipped them the bird. I am sure there were some improper words from the fan or fans involved but there is no excuse for Vick' actions. I watched his post game interview, (not sure if it showed all of it) but there was no apology from Vick. Is this Vick's true nature or just a case where he is frustrated with losing? I think it is a little of both. Be careful Michael, little brother is watching!!!!!!!!!!

Atlanta should look into drafting a conventional QB if they ever want to get to the promised land. I think Vick has had plenty of opportunity to show that his style will not work in the NFL. Didn't Plummer fly the bird a couple of years ago? I do get a kick out of guys losing their cool and making fools of themselves:jump:

I think everyone involved with the Atlanta organization is frustrated right now...

Vick delivered the ball today, the Falcons receivers are what lost the game. He had a lot of drops on wide open shots down field.

IMO Vick delivers it every game, and his receivers are the reason they lose. When they played Cincy, they caught it and killed us. But having White, Price, and Co. (receivers with bad hands for a QB who throws it hard) isn't gonna cut it most weeks.

He also delivered the "bird" and Thanksgiving has already passed!!! The camera however, did make the catch!!!!

So are you trying to tell me Vick's making an attempt to padd his stat's when the games are already over....

Vick apologized for his actions.

On another note, I'm waiting for the Giants to apologize to me for today's sad attempt at playing football.

The Falcons need to get Vick some receivers who can handle the Randy Johnson like ball being thrown @ them.

About Vick's actions today...Players do it all the time but Vick got caught doin it...does not make it appropriate however so shame on Mike....

If Vick could play all 6 skill positions Atlanta might have a chance to win, but he can't catch passes he throws so they are done for the year.

Vick is a good football player. Nothing more, nothing less. He's hard to account for in the running game but only an adequate passer. He isn't the prototype quarterback for the future like he was touted to be. He's different, that much is sure but he gives his team no better chance to win week in week out than 12-18 different quarterbacks in the NFL. He's had his chance to prove otherwise and he JUST HASN'T DONE IT.

Very well said and I will add, everyone makes mistakes and errors in judgement, but its time to grow up and conduct yourself like a man, win or lose...."character is doing the right thing, even when nobody is looking".

Cameras are every where and fans have the right, to say what ever negative and hateful comments they want. Professional athletes have feeling, they just can't let them show in the public.

It might not be his fault they lost the game, but the coach killer should show a little more class exiting the arena after the whooping the Saints put on them.

I'm sure that if any of us had to hear some of the things these athletes hear from fans we'd probably be giving the one finger salute too!
