Who wins this matchup? Trinity starts another season in Class 6A at #1. Carmel (IN) hopes to give the Shamrocks a home loss to start the season.

This should be a competitive game but taking Trinity since was close game last year and Trinity has improved defense.

Swami says:

Last year in Indiana, Carmel found a way to win by three.

Expect another classic except this time at Trinity.

Playing at home and knowing this will be huge toward the RPI,

Trinity wins a super close one and all their fans can sigh.

#1 big school in Kentucky vs. #1 big school in Indiana

Should be a dandy and one of the biggest opening weekend games in the midwestern part of the country. I'm taking the good guys (T) over the bad guys in another four quarter war.

Also, we have a serial downvoter in here displaying an unfortunate prejudice against ATL's creative limericks. How joyless must your life be that you feel the need to seek out every thread just to 'dislike' someone's attempt to bring some wit or levity to this forum. Sad.

Just a little I’ve read on here it seems the Rock defense is way ahead of their offense. Think it will be a close game that Trinity’s defense will lead the way in a Trinity victory. 17-13 Trinity.

Does T still do live in game coverage?

I don't know for sure but it looks as if they may including tonight's scrimmage:

Thanks!

Perfect night for football in St. Matthews.

I'm heading out right now.

Trinity to receive.

Rocks will start at their own 40.

I'm excited to follow this one. Keep us in the loop @TheDeuce.

Two plays, first down Rocks. Into Carmel territory.
